Mesoamerican Tree Species: a source book for farm planting and ecological restoration
This project aims to provide a definitive account of current knowledge of indigenous tree species within Mesoamerica, and their varied uses across the full spectrum of on-farm planting, ecological restoration and natural regeneration situations, and socio-economic/farming systems conditions; and to ensure effective dissemination and uptake of that information through a network of collaborators. Knowledge relating to land use and forest decision making promoted for the benefit of poor forest dependent people.
